Join me and the Enterprise Developers Guild on Tuesday, April 28, at 6:00 PM in the Mt. Kilimanjaro Room at the Charlotte Microsoft Campus for a presentation on ASP.NET MVC by Pete Mourfield. Developing for Dollars, our year-long focus on providing you with the skills to create successful applications and connecting you with the right organizations to make money from your work, continues. On March 18th, Microsoft released ASP.NET MVC, an alternative to classic ASP.NET Web Forms. Dino Esposito noted that “the MVC Framework and Web Forms have in common more or less what cars and motorcycles share. Both can take you somewhere else, but with different speed, comfort, sense of freedom, size of the trunk.” Pete’s presentation is low on slides and high on code. We’ll walk through building an application using ASP.NET MVC with the goal of help you understand why you might want to use ASP.NET MVC on your next application.
Peter Mourfield has been developing software for over 15 years. He is a Certified ScrumMaster and a Microsoft Certified Professional Developer (ASP.NET). Peter is the leader of the Augusta Developers Guild, a software developers user group in Augusta, GA.
The meeting is sponsored by MATRIX Resources.
